Call for Proposals "One Stop Shop"

Date: Friday, May 1, 2015

UN Women Palestine Country Office is launching a new call for proposals for interested non-governmental organizations and firms for the design, development and running of the services of a One Stop Shop.

Under the “Creating one-stop-shop for sustainable businesses” Joint Programme, funded by the SDG Fund, and the “Spring Forward for Women” Programme, funded by the European Union and UN Women, UN Women Palestine Country Office works to improve access of targeted marginalized women to economic opportunities through creating self-employment, micro and small enterprises and start-ups, training, product development, as well as market linkages, packaging and quality control.

The selected organization/firm will be responsible for developing, designing and running the One Stop Shop business development services’ hub with an incubation space for women entrepreneurs/businesses, Palestinian women Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives. The objective is to increase access and competitiveness of marginalized women-run MSMEs and cooperatives’ products in local, regional and international markets.

Through the One Stop Shop, the selected organization/firm is expected to implement two key components aimed at empowering women MSMEs through providing key services and financial support for promoting their production capacity and sustainable economic development. The two key components are as follows:
1. Providing key capacity building services to enhance the institutional and production capacity of women Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
2. Establishing a Grants Scheme and providing grants for women Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises

Interested organizations or firms are invited to submit their full proposal by Friday 15 May 2015 to palestine.procurement@unwomen.org.

The application package with all relevant information, guidelines and documents can be accessed here.

UN Women Palestine Country Office will organize a Q&A session for interested organizations/firms on Thursday 7 May 2015 at 10.00 am at UNRCP Building, 4th floor, Tokyo Street, Ramallah.
