For the fight to end violence against women to be effective, the judiciary has a key role to play. Building on its work with Palestinian police, prosecutors and lawyers towards specialization on violence against women cases, UN Women organized with the High Judicial Council a 3-day expert group meeting on adjudication of violence against women cases. Palestinian judges and judges from the region explain why specialization is needed.
