Bringing efforts, resources and expertise together are essential to create a powerful force for change. In Palestine, the UN Women office partners with the Palestinian Government, women’s machineries, civil society, donors, UN agencies and the private sector for the realization of its mandate and the sustainability of its interventions.

Donors community
UN Women was established by the international community to be a strong voice on gender equality and women’s empowerment. As such, it relies on member states through voluntary contributions and programme funds in order to fulfil its expansive and ambitious mandate.
Government agencies
UN Women provides support to the Palestinian Government in its efforts to realize gender equality.
United Nations
Through its mandate, UN Women leads, promotes and coordinates efforts to advance the full realization of women’s rights and opportunities.
Civil society
Civil society plays a vital role in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment. UN Women recognizes the need for a strong and dynamic partnership with civil society in achieving its goals and the importance of incorporating its voices into policies, programmes and initiatives.
Private sector
UN Women partners with the private sector to create space for women’s transformative leadership and decision-making, as well as decent work for many highly educated yet unemployed Palestinian women.
